Adding Extras

Occasionally it is necessary to add an extra item to a job card. This can be done through the Add an Extra button in the Update Job window. 


Adding an Extra item

In the Jobcards (In-Progress) window, highlight the open job you would like to add the extra item for and click on the Change button. The Update a Jobcard window will now be displayed.


Now click on the Add an Extra button and the Add an Extra Item to the Jobcard window will be displayed.


Start by adding the Action, Location and Description of the Extra Item you wish to add.
Then add the Job Detail Line Values.
After all details have been entered, click the OK button to add the item to the job card.
You can also use the "Lookup Own Stock" when adding the Extra to see if you have this item available in stock.
 
Please Note: An extra item is indicated by XIR in the Detail column and  Xtr in the Type column of the job card.
