Making use of an Audatex or an Outsurance estimate is no hassle, as this can be imported directly from the pdf file into Veculim.
This can be done by clicking on the Import Quote icon in the Work Menu. Once clicked, the _Convert External PDF to New Quote_window will be displayed.
Select the External PDF file using the lookup button.
Select the customer name in the Customer tab.
Adjust any values and add items as required.
If the Markup on the left hand side corner is still 0% make sure this is correct or enter the Markup % this Insurance is allowing.
NOTE: Some items you typically want to change depending on the facilities of your shop. For example:
1. Rust proofing and wheel alignment: You may do rust proofing or wheel alignment in your shop. On the quote, these would be typically be already set to outwork. Change the action to In House and move the values from the parts to the labour column.
2. Body filling materials: Typically these can be changed to Paint (action) and the value of those lines moved to the Paint section. Unless you are wanting to order and control this under own stock, then leave it as an order item.
Lastly, click Load quote to convert and save the import.
